The Consortium

Apply to join the Wexler Gray Operator Consortium.

We select a small number of senior operating executives each quarter. Members conduct independent organizational assessments for private equity firms — anonymously, blind, and on their own schedule.

Compensation

$500 – $1,100 per engagement

Engagement rate is set by tier. New Consortium operators earn $500; Senior tier $750; Lead tier $1,100. Promotion is earned through completed engagements and Wexler Gray scores.

Direct PE access

Your work is seen — anonymized — by PE operating partners, portfolio boards, and Wexler Gray's leadership team. Optional opportunity flag opens you to advisory, board, fractional, and full-time introductions.

Independence

No agenda. No pressure.

You score independently across 8 organizational dimensions. Your assessment is blind until synthesis. You are never asked to align with any outcome.

Tier 1

Consortium Operator

$500 / engagement

Entry tier. Functional and sector depth confirmed at admission.

Tier 2

Senior Operator

$750 / engagement

Earned at 5+ scored engagements with average score ≥ 4.5.

Tier 3

Lead Operator

$1,100 / engagement

Earned at 10+ scored engagements with average score ≥ 4.7.
